New project

Early last year I sent out an update that my new book would be released by December 2016. Well, that time has passed and I am still working on it. Happens! The good news is I am close to finishing the writing and FINALLY the illustrations are done. They took a lot longer than expected and to be honest the project has grown and grown since I began, and I hope this is good news. But to give you a taste of what is on the way and to give myself a fun break from writing, here is a clip!

For the past two years I've been busy working my new material, researching and writing. One of the best things about writing a book is sending ideas around the world to a variety of some of the top card men in the world, with whom I've shared clips, written descriptions and discussed much of the new of the material. I consider myself very fortunate indeed to have their help and feedback, and it is, in part my way of making sure that I am publishing only the best of my output.

Writing a book is not always smooth sailing. To give myseIf a break from writing I had some fun making this clip by cutting together some of the many research videos I've filmed over the past couple of years. Please keep in mind that the footage I've used in this clip was never intended to be used this way. Regardless I hope you enjoy the results of my time spent procrastinating. Unfortunately the writing wont finish itself so I'd best get back to it.
